Day One 
Today we went to the Prambanan Temple in Yogakarta. Through the tour we were able to step out from our comfort zones, expose ourselves to a new surrounding and a new belief called Hinduism. As the tour went on, we learnt that the Hindus strongly believe and respect their journey of self discovery. We strongly admire their passion towards their beliefs and their determination in upholding their strong values. This coincides with one of our school's values, self respect which aspires us to cultivate ourselves as an individual with a good character.

Towards the end of the day we also attended Sonobudoya Museum and watched the puppet shadow play on the story of Hanggada's mission and the Death of Prahasta. The way which they played the instruments was amazing as they needed much focus. We also admired their passion to promote their culture though their craftsmanship and their dedication towards the culture.

Today we also went to two local traditional restaurants, over here the local food is different from what we have in Singapore. They also have different ways of eating their food. However, there are also similar dishes such as satay, rojak etc. It is very interesting to get to taste the different food.
